Award season is in full swing. We’ve been graced by the SAG’s, the Golden Globes, the Grammys and of course the BAFTAs – but the holy grail of the celebrity red carpet calendar is undoubtedly awarded to the Oscars Academy Awards.
Home to some of the most iconic and memorable looks from the silver screen – from Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 ethereal Givenchy lace dress, Julia Roberts’ 2001 spellbinding black and white Valentino gown to the beautiful custom made Prada ‘Nairobi’ blue gown worn by Lupita Nyong’o in 2014; fashion and film have always remained intrinsically linked.
Hollywood’s elite were out in full force on Sunday to celebrate the 91st year of screen triumphs but whose look stood out for you?

Brie Larson in Celine
Constance Wu in custom made Versace and Swarovski Fine Jewellery
I just love the gorgeous structured cut out design of this avante-garde Celine dress – which frames Bries’ silhouette beautifully. Jewellery remained simple yet stunning, ensuring full focus was on the gown.
Fun, bright and bold. What’s not to love about Ms Wu? The added layers and intricate detailing around the bust and the intense, velvety red lip makes this look a bona fide winner.
Amy Adams in Atelier Versace and Cartier jewels
Amy has been accustomed to wearing darker and deeper hues to award ceremonies most recently; so it was great to see her reveal the unexpected by adding texture and dimension in this gorgeous Atelier Versace gown. Accessorised impeccably with a classic Cartier statement neck piece.
Allison Janney in Pamella Roland
When it comes to the red carpet, Allison never puts a foot wrong and this dramatic Pamela Roland dress proves once again why she’s a winner both on and off screen.
Helen Mirren in Schiaparelli Haute Couture and Harry Winston jewels
Never one to shy away from a bold statement, Helen has delivered on this promise in this stunning Haute Couture Schiaparelli. Her fresh and illuminating make up balanced the monochromatic look, making for a signature showstopper.
